About Dwell
At Dwell Somatic Studio, we believe feeling better begins with listening to your body.
Founded by Beth Cosi in Charleston, South Carolina, Dwell began as an online membership in 2020, and in 2025 expanded into a boutique studio at the historic Navy Yard. Dwell delivers a thoughtful blend of Clinical Somatic Exercise, slow yoga, gentle breathwork, and fascia-informed practices to help you release chronic tension, improve mobility, regulate your nervous system, and reconnect with yourself.
In studio and online, this is a space to slow down, move with intention, and discover a different approach to well-being—one rooted in awareness rather than effort, and curiosity rather than correction.
Whether you're navigating persistent pain, feeling disconnected from your body, or simply seeking a more sustainable way to care for yourself, you're welcome here. Dwell was curated for YOU.

Beth Cosi is the founder of Dwell Somatic Studio and a movement educator with a passion for fascia, nervous system science, and the body's innate capacity for change.
Since beginning her teaching career in 2011, Beth has helped people discover greater ease, awareness, and freedom through movement. Her approach integrates Clinical Somatic Exercise, yoga, breathwork, and fascia-informed practices to help students recognize habitual patterns of tension, develop body awareness, and cultivate a deeper sense of well-being.
Known for her precise cueing, depth of presence, and gentle yet perceptive teaching style, Beth creates an environment where students feel supported in exploring their bodies without judgment or pressure. Her intention is to empower people with practical tools that support nervous system regulation, reduce unnecessary tension, and foster a more compassionate relationship with themselves.
Beth's professional journey reflects a longstanding commitment to innovation and community. In 2011, she founded Bendy Brewski Yoga, a pioneering yoga-and-brewery concept that introduced new audiences to yoga through accessible, community-centered experiences. After leading the business for thirteen years, she opened Dwell Somatic Studio in 2025 to create a more intimate space dedicated to somatic education, embodied awareness, and whole-person well-being.
Beth is a Certified Clinical Somatic Exercise Practitioner, with advanced training in Tensegrity Medicine Mentorship and Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy, both through Level Two. She has been a certified yoga teacher since 2010 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Literature from the University of Memphis. She is currently completing Level Three of her Clinical Somatic Exercise training.
At the heart of Beth's work is a simple belief: you don't have to push harder to feel better. By learning to listen to your body and work with its patterns, you can begin to discover new possibilities for movement, resilience, and everyday life.
Why I Created Dwell
I created Dwell to offer a different kind of movement experience—one that invites you to slow down, tune in, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself with the support of truly kind community, in studio or online. So much of life asks us to do more, try harder, and push through. I wanted to create a space where we could approach our bodies differently: with curiosity, patience, and care.
My work has taught me that the body is not something to fix or force. It is an intelligent, interconnected system that continually responds and adapts to the demands of life. When we learn to recognize our patterns and listen to the signals our bodies are sending, we can begin to create meaningful change in right timing.
Dwell brings together practices that support this process in a welcoming, personal setting. Whether you're here for pain relief, greater mobility, stress reduction, or simply time to reconnect with yourself, my hope is that you leave feeling more at ease, more empowered, and more at home in your body.

If you’re new to yoga or a community, here are some tips to help you find the perfect yoga instructor.
Read their bio and check out their website. Does their story resonate with you? What kind of person is the teacher?
How long have they been teaching (not just practicing)? What trainings and certifications do they have? It only matters if it aligns with what you want out of your practice… right now.
Where do they teach? Accessibility is key to creating a consistent practice.
4. Can you communicate with the teacher? Ask questions, tell them a bit about what you’re looking for. This shows dedication to students.
Check out student reviews. What are students saying and who are her students? Can you relate?
Essentially, take a few of their classes, at least 3.
